A well-established and highly regarded law firm is seeking an experienced Construction Litigation Legal Assistant to join its Orlando office. This is an excellent opportunity for a legal professional who thrives in a fast-paced litigation environment and has a strong background in construction defect matters. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage complex attorney calendars and scheduling
• Prepare, proofread, and format legal documents and pleadings
• Handle high-volume document production
• E-file in state and federal courts
• Assist with hearing and trial preparation
• Enter attorney time and support billing processes
• Open new matters and assist with conflict checks

Qualifications:

• 5 years of legal assistant experience in a law firm or corporate legal setting
• Required: Construction defect litigation experience
• Strong knowledge of Florida litigation procedures
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills

Highly Preferred Experience:

Familiarity with Florida Chapter 558 pre-suit process, including notice requirements, defect inspection timelines, and resolution procedures. Experience working with construction-related issues such as water intrusion, structural defects, or code violations is highly valued.
