We are seeking an experienced Compensation and Benefits Manager to lead the design, administration, and continuous improvement of our compensation structures, employee benefits programs, and HR information systems. This role ensures compliance, supports organizational goals, and enhances the employee experience through efficient processes and data-driven insights. This position will maintain a hybrid schedule, working remotely on Mondays and Fridays.
Key Responsibilities
Compensation
- Administer salary classification and compensation programs.
- Advise managers on pay decisions, policies, guidelines, and job evaluations.
- Conduct job analyses, assign pay grades, recommend salary adjustments, and approve staffing and salary actions.
- Oversee salary survey participation and ensures competitive compensation practices.
Benefits
- Manage employee group insurance plans, including enrollments, changes, and life benefit claims.
- Administer leave programs (FMLA, Workers’ Compensation, ADA, short- and long-term disability).
- Provide guidance on benefits, policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Support retirement plan enrollments, changes, and service retirements; conduct exit benefits meetings.
- Negotiate with vendors to secure optimal plan options, services, and rates.
- Manage benefits budgets and financial transactions; prepare required reports.
- Develop and distribute benefits communications, including open enrollment materials.
HRIS Management
- Oversee HRIS configuration, maintenance, updates, and data integrity.
- Improve HRIS workflows to enhance operational efficiency and user experience.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure data accuracy, security, and compliance.
- Produce reporting and analytics to support HR and leadership decision-making.
- Serve as the primary contact for HRIS issues and provide training to HR staff and employees.
Qualifications
Required Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related.
Required Experience
- 3–5 years of Human Resources experience, ideally in compensation, benefits, and/or HRIS-focused roles.
Preferred Qualifications
- SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM‑CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM‑SCP).
- Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS).
- Certified Compensation Professional (CCP).
- Certified Benefits Professional (CBP).
Salary : $75,000 - $85,000
