What are the responsibilities and job description for the Communications Manager position at LHH?
LHH is working with a client who is at the forefront of sustainable ingredients for the health, beauty, and wellness industry who is seeking a Communications Manager to join their team. You’ll be the main point of contact for PR, media relations, and crisis communications, and will play a key role in shaping our brand reputation and content strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Brand Strategy:
- Elevate corporate brand reputation and ensure brand voice consistency across all channels
- Lead ESG and sustainability messaging
External Promotion:
- Serve as the primary contact for PR and media relations
- Develop and manage integrated promotional campaigns and global event communications
- Build relationships with media partners, analysts, and industry influencers
Internal Communications & Events:
- Manage internal events and content (town halls, speaker series, newsletters, etc.)
- Oversee internal messaging and support global initiatives (EHS, HR, etc.)
- Drive efficiencies in marketing through digital upgrades and automation
Change & Crisis Management:
- Prepare and execute crisis communication plans
- Serve as spokesperson when needed
- Develop proactive strategies to mitigate reputational risk
Must-Have Qualifications
- 5 years in corporate communications, PR, or marketing (B2B focus)
- 2 years in a relevant industry (chemical manufacturing, industrial B2B, or regulated technical environment)
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, PR, Marketing, or related field
- Experience in brand marketing, content strategy, and B2B communications
- PR and media relations, including crisis management
- Experience with scientific or personal care ingredient environments
