Our client is hiring a Claims Specialist / Senior Claims Specialist to join a growing commercial insurance claims team. This role offers the opportunity to manage complex, high-exposure liability claims while serving as a key technical resource and strategic contributor within the organization. The position follows a hybrid work schedule in either Tulsa, OK or Cincinnati, OH.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of complex commercial general liability and commercial auto claims nationwide.
- Conduct investigations, assess coverage and liability, and develop effective claim resolution strategies.
- Represent the organization during mediations, depositions, and trials.
- Partner with underwriting and other business teams to identify trends and improve claims outcomes.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on complex claims and provide guidance to colleagues.
- Ensure compliance with applicable legal, regulatory, and company standards.
- Support team success through technical leadership and consultation on high-severity claim files.
Qualifications
- 9 years of experience handling commercial general liability and/or commercial auto claims.
- Strong knowledge of policy interpretation, coverage analysis, and claims resolution.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Risk Management, Insurance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Professional insurance designations such as CPCU are a plus.
