Business Development Manager - Healthcare Segment - Pittsburgh, PN
**Must currently live in Pittsburgh, PN metro area. Candidates outside of this area will NOT be considered. Relocation not provided.
Position Overview: Reporting to the Director of Business Development, this position holds top-line sales responsibility for a specific region, focusing on developing business with end-user customers within Strategic IDNs. The role involves interaction with Marketing, Sales Management, and Customer Service. The ideal candidate must be strategic in approach and drive the execution of focused priorities while aligning with overall company objectives and goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop a strategic sales plan to achieve top-line growth in identified priority areas specific to the region.
Discuss and develop business strategies with end-users that align with overall objectives and have specific action items with timelines for attainment.
Establish, develop, and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within IDNs, end-users, regional contract management, regional GPOs, and other entities in each market.
Develop and execute a timely communications plan with the sales organization, end-users, and distributors.
Negotiate and execute contracts that provide opportunities for business growth while continually seeking ways to avoid or reduce potential costs associated with said contracts.
Review and analyze market conditions to take corrective actions ensuring sales plans are achieved, including consulting with end-users, benchmarking with other suppliers, evaluating alternative sales partners, and adjusting prioritized focus as needed.
Education and Experience Required:
Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.)
A strong work history with promotion and recognition over a 3 to 5-year period of professional experience.
Experience working in the healthcare industry in hospital operations such as Patient Services Manager or Food Services Manager/Director.
No previous sales experience required if coming from RD/Food Services Management/Patient Services Management (at least 5 years experience).

Travel Required
Salary range: $110,000-$140,000 per year 25-50% bonus opportunity
