What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bookkeeper position at LHH?
Our client, a stable and growing organization in Dublin, is seeking a hands-on Bookkeeper to support day‑to‑day accounting operations. This position will handle both general ledger activities and clerical accounting tasks, with a strong emphasis on accuracy, organization, and effective use of QuickBooks. The ideal candidate enjoys wearing multiple hats, thrives in a small accounting environment, and brings a solid understanding of core accounting fundamentals. This position will sit onsite work along a great team!
Responsibilities
- Post and maintain general ledger entries, including recurring journal entries and adjusting entries.
- Assist with month-end tasks such as reconciliations and basic financial support.
- Manage daily clerical accounting tasks including accounts payable/receivable support, data entry, and document processing.
- Maintain organized electronic and physical files to ensure accurate recordkeeping.
- Support invoice entry, vendor documentation, and payment processing.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of previous bookkeeping or accounting support experience required
- Working knowledge of QuickBooks is required
- Comfortable handling general ledger transactions and high-volume clerical work
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- Ability to work onsite in Dublin, OH.
