Billing Coordinator
LHH is assisting with a search for a Billing Coordinator for a Legal Client in Kansas City, MO. This position will work a hybrid schedule with pay starting at $60k annually and going up with experience. Our ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of Accounts Payable experience in legal or professional services. Read below for additional details!
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare, print, and distribute prebills according to firm standards
- Revise prebills as directed; carefully execute complex adjustments in an accurate and timely manner
- Prepare and distribute invoices as instructed
- Coordinate with ebilling department to resolve rejections for ebilled invoices
- Respond to client and attorney billing inquiries promptly and completely; maintain highest level of customer service
- Identify and resolve billing inaccuracies
- Regularly participate in meetings with billing attorneys as assigned
- Proficient in 3E, Proforma Tracker, InTapp Time, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel
- Seek opportunities for growth, offer assistance with special projects
- Suggest improvements for billing process and systems procedures
- Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS:
- HS Diploma-required! Associates Degree in Accounting-preferred
- A least 3 year of legal billing or collections experience
- 3E, Proforma Tracker, InTapp Time Software experience - preferred
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent self-management as well as project management skills
- Great attention to detail and superior organizational skills
