Project-Based Attorney

Location: Fully Remote (U.S.)

Position Type: Full-Time, Project-Based Attorney

Compensation: $70-$100 per hour, depending on experience

About the Role

Our client is seeking a licensed Attorney to join its legal team in a full-time, remote capacity. This position is ideal for an attorney who enjoys working on substantive legal projects across a variety of practice areas while maintaining the flexibility of a remote work environment. The attorney will support ongoing and long-term projects involving contract review, legal research, compliance matters, due diligence, litigation support, and other legal initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Review, draft, and negotiate contracts and legal agreements
• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda, summaries, and recommendations
• Support corporate, compliance, regulatory, employment, litigation, or transactional matters
• Analyze legal risks and provide practical legal guidance
• Assist with due diligence and document review projects
• Collaborate with internal legal teams, business stakeholders, and outside counsel
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
• Maintain accurate and organized case and project documentation

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
• 4 years of legal experience preferred
• Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills
• Experience reviewing and drafting complex legal documents
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal research platforms

Additional Information:

Personal Time Off (PTO) is offered on an accrual basis up to 184 hours a year, 13 Paid Holidays, and up to 6 weeks of Paid Parental Leave. PTO and holiday hours are prorated based on hire date within the calendar year.
