AP Accountant

LHH Recruitment Solutions is hiring an AP Accountant in Skokie, IL. This role is 100% onsite. Must have extensive Accounts Payable (AP) experience and Strong accounting skills. Ideally experience with ERP systems, month and year-end close experience. Seeking a candidate who can work collaboratively, team player and the desire for growth opportunity in the future.

Direct Hire

Salary: $80-100k

Duties

• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with GAAP
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Solid experience with AP processes and systems
• Support the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors
• Monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for business initiatives
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures
• Participate in special projects and ad-hoc analyses
• Crosstrain and serve as backup to other team members
• Aid in developing a centralized accounting function to streamline processes
