We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced AIA Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Miami. This is a full-time, onsite position supporting the finance department with a focus on AIA billing and receivables. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction billing practices, particularly AIA documentation and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit AIA billing documents (G702/G703 forms) in accordance with contract terms.
- Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on outstanding invoices.
- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve billing discrepancies.
- Coordinate with project managers and clients to ensure timely and accurate billing.
- Maintain organized records of billing and payment history.
- Assist with month-end closing and reporting related to AR.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, with a focus on AIA billing.
- Strong knowledge of AIA documentation and construction billing processes.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Viewpoint, or similar).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field preferred.
