Accounts Receivable Manager

Position Overview

We are looking for a seasoned Accounts Receivable leader to guide and oversee end‑to‑end receivables activities. This role is responsible for driving accurate billing, maintaining reliable financial records, and ensuring collections are handled efficiently. The Accounts Receivable Manager partners closely with internal teams and customers to support healthy cash flow, reduce exposure to risk, and ensure adherence to established accounting principles and company guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all operational activities within the Accounts Receivable function.
• Oversee invoice generation, cash application, and receipt processing to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and improve receivables workflows.
• Produce recurring monthly reports and review outstanding balances to support management decision‑making.
• Identify opportunities to streamline AR processes, set performance goals, and improve overall efficiency.
• Coach, develop, and provide ongoing support to team members to strengthen skills and performance.

People Management

• Directly manage and support a team of two Accounts Receivable professionals.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of five years of experience in accounts receivable or collections, preferably within a manufacturing or service‑based environment.
• Hands‑on experience working with SAP or a comparable ERP platform.
• Solid understanding of core accounting concepts and receivables best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams with strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Outlook.
• Proven interpersonal and leadership capabilities with the ability to build effective working relationships.
