They are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join their finance team and play a key role in supporting ongoing construction operations.
What You’ll Do:
- Research, review, and reconcile invoices and vendor statements
- Maintain, audit, and organize unprocessed invoice files
- Print, match, review, and mail weekly check runs
- Void, reclass, and modify disbursements and invoices as needed
- Serve as a point of contact for on‑site staff, resolving AP‑related questions
- Perform data entry, including reviewing and exporting data from in‑house systems
- Collaborate with property and site staff to obtain required documentation
- Maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners
- Update vendor addresses, property names, and related records
- Manage spreadsheets, tracking logs, scanning, and filing as required
- Support additional accounting and administrative tasks as assigned
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred)
- 3 years of hands‑on Accounts Payable experience
- Strong Excel proficiency (required)
- Experience in construction, real estate, or a related industry strongly preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently
- Clear communicator with solid interpersonal skills
