Accounts Payable/Receivable (AP/AR) Specialist
We are a fast-paced, growth-oriented manufacturing company committed to operational excellence and innovation. As we expand, we’re seeking a detail-driven AP/AR Specialist to join our finance team and help streamline our accounting operations.
Role Overview
The AP/AR Specialist will be responsible for managing the full cycle of accounts payable and receivable processes, with a strong focus on 3-way invoice matching, vendor reconciliation, and customer billing. This role requires advanced proficiency in Excel and hands-on experience with ERP systems in a manufacturing setting.
Key Responsibilities
• Process and verify vendor invoices using 3-way matching (PO, invoice, receiving)
• Manage daily AP and AR transactions, including coding, posting, and payment processing
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
• Generate customer invoices and follow up on outstanding receivables
• Maintain accurate records of payments, credits, and adjustments
• Assist with month-end close and financial reporting
• Collaborate with purchasing, receiving, and production teams to ensure invoice accuracy
• Utilize advanced Excel functions (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas) for reporting and analysis
• Work within ERP systems to manage workflows, approvals, and data integrity
• Support audits and compliance initiatives with organized documentation
Qualifications
• 3 years of AP/AR experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Strong understanding of 3-way matching and inventory-related invoicing
• Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, conditional formatting, etc.)
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar)
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting
Preferred Skills
• Familiarity with freight and logistics invoicing
• Experience with vendor onboarding and W-9 management
• Knowledge of GAAP and basic accounting principles

Salary between $52,000-$65,000 annually
Pay Details: $52,000.00 to $65,000.00 per year
