What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Payable Accountant position at LHH?
LHH is working on behalf of our growing client in the non-profit space who is looking to bring an Accounts Payable Accountant on board on a 4 month contract basis. This will require some in-office work in Manhattan, NY. Prior experience utilizing NetSuite is a highly preferred!
Responsibilities:
- Process invoices and weekly payments for all US entities
- Review GL coding
- Manage vendor requests within the system
- Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals
- Prepare year-end schedules
- Assist with ad-hoc reporting and month-end closing
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree highly preferred
- 3 years of relevant experience
- Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables & v-lookups
- Experience with NetSuite is preferred
- Prior non-profit industry experience is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Compensation: $32 - $38/hr, depending on experience.
