We are recruiting for a Senior Accounting Specialist to work with a reputable company in Maitland, Florida. Must currently reside in the Greater Orlando area and work on site.
Overview
A growing organization is seeking an AP/AR Specialist to support day-to-day accounting operations in a small, collaborative office environment. This role focuses on high dollar accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations, working closely with finance leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Process Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Assist with month-end reconciliations and reporting
- Maintain accurate financial records
- Support process improvement and organization
- Use QuickBooks Desktop and Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)
Qualifications
- AP/AR or accounting experience required
- QuickBooks Desktop experience
- Strong Excel skills
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Comfortable in a small, shared office environment
Preferred
- Associate’s degree or higher in Accounting
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Background in construction, manufacturing, or real estate
- ERP experience a plus (future system transition planned)
