Accounting Assistant
Location: Knoxville, TN (Onsite)- West

What You'll Be Doing
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
- Process invoices, payments, and vendor communications
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements
- Support month-end close activities and general ledger maintenance
- Enter and maintain accurate financial data in the accounting system
- Assist with expense reporting and account reconciliations
- Prepare reports and spreadsheets for management review
- Help maintain organized financial records and supporting documentation
- Provide administrative support to the accounting and finance team as needed
What We're Looking For
- 1 years of accounting, bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable, or related experience
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or equivalent experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using Sage accounting software is highly preferred
- Experience with Sage Intacct, Sage 100, Sage 300, or other ERP/accounting systems is strongly desired
- Previous experience working in a corporate accounting, manufacturing, construction, healthcare, or professional services environment is a plus
