LHH is partnering with a dynamic organization to identify an Accounting Manager. This role will take ownership of core accounting operations, strengthen financial processes, and ensure accurate, timely reporting while supporting broader organizational objectives.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger activities and close processes
- Manage and develop a team, ensuring strong execution and continuous improvement
- Review and prepare financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal standards
- Maintain and enhance account structures, classifications, and reporting frameworks
- Oversee cash management activities, including payment approvals and banking coordination
- Partner cross-functionally to align financial reporting with operational initiatives
- Support budgeting and planning efforts, including tracking performance against targets
- Conduct internal reviews to ensure adherence to policies and identify areas for improvement
- Coordinate and manage external audits, serving as the primary point of contact for auditors
- Partner with tax and compliance functions to ensure accurate reporting and alignment with requirements
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
- 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, internal controls, and accounting operations
- Experience managing audits and working with external auditors
- Proven ability to lead teams and drive process improvements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
- Advanced Excel skills and experience working within ERP systems
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams
