Staff Accountant LHH is assisting with a search for a Staff Accountant for a client in Overland Park, KS. We are looking for someone to work on-site with pay starting at $65k/year and going up based on experience. This is a hybrid role working on-site 3-4 days/week. Our ideal candidate will have at least 1-2 years of fully cycle accounting experience and their Accounting Degree. Read below for additional details!Role and ResponsibilitiesReconcile cash general ledger accounts to bank statementsPrepare, record, review and reconcile journal entriesPrepare sales and use tax returns for multiple statesProvide key daily management reporting surrounding sales and liquidity analysisAssist with overall bank reporting processes including weekly borrowing base compilations and monthly financial packagesReview business unit financials and provide analysis to managementPerform ad hoc management reporting and analysisDebt related entriesParticipate in the annual audit, bank audits, and inventory examsSupport finance team by providing information, recording journals, and assisting with the reporting and reconciliation processRequirements:Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals.
