What are the responsibilities and job description for the Staff Accountant position at LHH US?
LHH Recruitment Solutions is looking to fill a Staff Accountant job opportunity for this South Bay company located in Fremont, CA. This position is 100% in-office. The right candidate should have at least 3 years of experience as an accounting professional and industry experience within a non-profit organization. Responsibilities include: - Assist with the annual close month and year-end close process - General Ledger account reconciliation and analysis - Record monthly amortization of prepaid taxes and insurance - Responsible for monthly corporate allocations - Prepare and distribute corporate financials - Maintain fixed asset schedule and record monthly depreciation - Assist Controller on projects as assigned Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required - Grant accounting experience preferred but a solid foundation in accounting (GAAP) - Software experience with a medium to large ERP - Industry experience in a non-profit would be highly preferred - Team player, proactive, and organized - Attention to detail, problem-solver, and strong time management skills - Excellent communications (written, verbal, and patient) - Comfortable with Microsoft Office (Excel - Advanced, Word & Outlook) Experience: 3 years of accounting experience (Staff Accountant, Senior Accountant, Grant Accountant, Fund Accountant) Employment Type: Temp to Hire If you are interested in this or other job opportunities available through LHH Recruitment Solutions, please submit your resume today at www.LHH.com !
