Customer Service & Operations Specialist
Overland Park, KS | Fully Onsite
Full-Time | Contract-to-Hire| up to $27ph.
LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a financial services organization seeking a Customer Service & Operations Support Specialist to assist with a critical core system conversion initiative. This role is ideal for candidates who thrive in fast-paced environments, enjoy problem-solving, and have a strong customer service mindset.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Handle a high volume of inbound customer calls during system conversion periods
· Assist customers with:
o Online banking registration and access issues
o Account visibility and navigation following system updates
o Debit card support, including activation and troubleshooting declined transactions
· Follow strict authentication and verification procedures on every customer interaction
· Adhere to established compliance standards and internal processes
· Provide clear, professional guidance to customers experiencing service disruptions
· Escalate complex or unresolved issues in accordance with internal protocols
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Prior experience in banking, financial services, or call center customer support
· Experience working in high-volume, fast-paced environments
· Familiarity with online banking platforms, debit cards, and basic account transactions (ACH, account servicing)
· Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow structured processes consistently
· Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
· Ability to adapt quickly to new systems and changing workflows
· Strong verbal communication and customer service skills
· Ability to remain calm and professional when handling customer concerns
Pay Details: $25.00 to $27.00 per hour
