LHH Recruitment Solutions is supporting a client located in Troy, MI in their search for a Collections Specialist. This is a Direct Hire, hybrid position offering a collaborative work environment and long-term stability.

Compensation: $55,000-$60,000 annually
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage customer accounts and perform collections activities to ensure timely payment
• Analyze aging reports and follow up on past-due balances
• Communicate professionally with customers regarding invoices, payment status, and discrepancies
• Research and resolve billing or payment issues
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of collection efforts
• Prepare reports and track collection metrics using Excel
• Collaborate with internal accounting and finance teams

Required Qualifications:

• Prior experience in collections or accounts receivable
• Strong Excel skills required, including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple accounts
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment
