LHH is working with a professional client in the Tacoma, WA area that is searching for a temporary Accounting Manager. This individual will review work of the accounting team, assist with financial statement preparation, and manage the audit work. The team is looking for a candidate that has at least ten years of accounting experience and has managed an audit before. This position is fully onsite in the office but offers a quick interview process. Responsibilities: Oversee and review daily accounting operations to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies. Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Lead and coordinate audit processes, including managing documentation and communication with external auditors. Mentor and support accounting team members, fostering professional development and collaboration. Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and strengthen internal financial controls. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred. Minimum of ten years of progressive accounting experience, including prior management of audit processes. Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards. Professional communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers. Excellent analytical and organizational abilities.
