Design Build Lead

Specific Responsibilities Include:
- Working with team, clients, consultants, and contractors as needed.
- Coordinates with design and construction team to ensure high quality design/construction documents.
- Specific understanding of construction documentation for remodel, rehab and ground-up construction.
- Ensures project schedules are maintained.
- Travel to job sites as needed for architectural surveys and construction administration requirements.
- Create construction drawing for all building-related projects and adhere to design guidelines.
- Work with clients, consultants, and permitting agencies to complete the permitting process.
- Work closely with all civil, structural, PM & E, landscaping, environmental, and other consultants by reviewing drawing files for coordination and adherence to established design standards.
- Obtain information on construction building materials for specific plans.
- Act as a resource to other team members and assist in leading design build process.
- Motivated and willing to take initiative to lead or take on additional responsibility.
- Ability to adapt and learn new skills.
- Assists with creating design budgets and quotations
- Assists with developing best practices pertaining to tracking all design time and design consultant costs throughout the duration of a project.
- Develop any design related change orders on a project.
- Assist with all design related projects close out documents and procedures.
- Lead design consultants pertaining to cost, quality and schedule.
- Lead efforts to rework or streamline design build process. (Word Doc)
- Assisting with project pursuits and responding to client requests.
- Provide design oversight in the pre-construction process.
