What You’ll Do Day to Day:
A core member of the project team that enables and embraces cross-team collaboration in a matrixed environment. The focus of this role is the coordination of business and software development project rollouts and expansion.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Manage multiple simultaneous projects from inception through delivery.
- Partner with internal and external partners as needed to define project parameters and identify impediments.
- Work closely with leadership to allocate business and technology resources to the highest priority projects and maintain a clear forecasted workstream.
- Research and support upcoming and ongoing projects and business and system functions for continuous optimization and improvement.
- Provide consulting services to any business unit in need of assistance with projects or product implementation.
- Manage project or product requirement gathering by asking appropriate questions and applying company, product, and industry experience.
- Understand and consult on business and system abilities from a user level; coordinate with Technology team and other business units to determine feasibility.
- Document project requirements, decisions, and other important project information using JIRA or similar applications
- Develop user testing and training plans for those most impacted by system changes.
- Provide high-level post-implementation support to end users following releases.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study
- 3 years in project or program management, project delivery, scrum master or similar role(s).
- Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence or similar software used for project management.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodology
- Agile or PMP Certification preferred
- Experience in fintech, banking, finance, or a related industry preferred.
- Intermediate Salesforce knowledge preferred.
