What You’ll Do Day to Day:
Responsible for monitoring the company’s financing agreements, building complex asset-based cash flow models, and producing detailed analytics to support new transactions.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Assist in the structuring and maintenance of LendingPoint’s credit facilities including:
- Monitoring credit facility performance
- Reviewing transaction documents to ensure alignment with current credit, servicing, and operational processes
- Providing supporting documentation as requested by lenders
- Producing proactive analysis of portfolio trends
- Engineer financial models to provide insight into portfolio and transaction performance for existing and contemplated transactions.
- Utilize MySQL, Domo, Tableau, or other data management or database systems to drive data-centric strategic solutions to management inquiries.
- Create, monitor, and review credit facility and securitization reporting and compliance materials.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as risk, legal, product, accounting, and finance to facilitate changes between business operations and credit facility functions.
- Assist with analyzing new transactions which may include detailed review of term sheets and related transaction documentation to determine analytical needs.
- Provide strategic support to the treasury team regarding capital markets initiatives impacting the firm’s liquidity.
- Assist in the production of concise and accurate pitch materials
- Participate in lender due diligence meetings as needed (travel may be required).
OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Willingness to travel up to 10% annually
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Math, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3 years’ experience in the banking, capital markets, treasury, or consulting industry
- 3 years’ experience in financial modeling.
- Highly Proficient at MS Excel and presenting data.
- Strong understanding of structured finance and securitization market.
- Experience at a lending company that uses credit facility financing, preferred.
- Some experience with consumer assets, preferred.
