What You’ll Do Day to Day:
The FinTech Leadership Development Program is a 24-month program seeking to ensure significant business exposure through a variety of challenging analytical assignments. The goal of the program is to provide learning opportunities in areas including Risk, Capital Markets, Marketing, Customer Experience, Financial Planning & Analysis, and Data Analytics. FTLD analysts will spend six months in four different business units working directly with experienced FinTech professionals to sharpen their analytical skills and develop an understanding of our business, customers, and interdepartmental relationships. Upon successful completion of the program, analysts will be placed in the department that will best leverage both their strengths and best support the continued growth of LendingPoint. The FTLD Analyst Program is designed to drive continuous improvement within LendingPoint while developing the skills needed for future leadership roles within the company.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Risk: Use analytics tools such as SAS, R, and tableau to develop, enhance and implement overall risk management strategies for merchants and clients.
- Capital Markets: Engineer financial models to understand cash flows of the business and provide insight into portfolio value and use of leverage.
- Financial Planning & Analysis: Analyze financial statements, develop, and manage financial models, prepare competitive analysis vs. peers, assist in planning and budgeting, and develop understanding of business drivers and trends from a macro and micro view.
- Data Analysis: Understand data infrastructure of firm and develop ad-hoc analyses; manage data tools to develop insights into business performance.
- Marketing: Analyze platform, campaign and asset performance; monitor performance metrics; identify data optimization opportunities.
- Customer Experience: Use operational data to uncover customer experience gaps and learn about customer journey mapping.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- BA/BS degree in Business Administration, or equivalent, with an overall GPA of 3.0.
- Successful completion of Finance or Data Analysis coursework.
- High degree of academic and extracurricular achievement.
- Proven analytical ability and attention to detail.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Willingness to commit substantial time and energy to the program.
