Group Facilitator
- Facilitate group therapy sessions for patients, utilizing evidence-based practices and therapeutic techniques.
- Conduct patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans and goals.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for each patient.
- Provide patient care and support during therapy sessions, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment.
- Utilize behavior management strategies to address challenging behaviors and promote positive outcomes.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care and ensure continuity of treatment.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient progress and treatment interventions.
Experience
- Substance Use Group Facilitating experience and/or willingness to learn and adapt strong group facilitating methods
- CDCA, LCDC I, II, III all accepted / Medicaid and NPI number required
- Ability to complete and submit group notes daily / familiarity with EMR systems and submissions
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral health needs.
- Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and techniques.
- Familiarity with cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and crisis management strategies.
- Experience working in a pediatric or special education setting is preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Clinical supervision is offered weekly
