- Work in partnership with the EVS Stewarding Supervisor to oversee daily functions in all restaurant outlets.
- Assist with staffing needs, scheduling and corrective action as needed.
- Ensure kitchen equipment is functioning properly, reporting issues when needed.
- Ensure the cleanliness of all cooking equipment, floors and walls.
- Washing of dishes, glassware, silverware and other operating supplies.
- Oversee the disposal of trash and garbage.
- Assure that restaurants are properly supplied with dishes, glasses and silverware.
- Washing of all heavy pots, pans, and cooking utensils, dusting, sweeping, and mopping various kitchen areas.
- Thorough knowledge of applicable company and departmental policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma and/or GED preferred
- Previous experience working in a kitchen or as a dishwasher is preferred.
- 1 year previous experience in a supervisory role preferred.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
- Some computer knowledge is a plus.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, with variable overtime.
- Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondary smoke, high noise levels, bright lights and dust.
