A West Palm Beach personal injury law firm is seeking a skilled Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal for an immediate temp-to-hire opportunity. This individual will work directly with a lead attorney on significant personal injury cases and provide hands-on support throughout litigation and trial preparation.
The ideal candidate brings strong litigation skills, sound judgment, excellent follow-through, and a positive, collaborative attitude.
Responsibilities:
Manage personal injury case files and keep matters organized and moving forward.
Prepare pleadings, discovery, correspondence, and other legal documents for attorney review.
Obtain, organize, and summarize medical records, bills, and other case materials.
Coordinate depositions, hearings, expert appointments, and case-related scheduling.
Track deadlines and maintain accurate litigation calendars.
Assist with trial preparation, including exhibits, witness materials, and trial binders.
Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, medical providers, and experts.
Qualifications:
Prior experience as a personal injury litigation paralegal.
Strong knowledge of Florida litigation procedures and court filing requirements.
Experience supporting complex cases and preparing matters for trial.
Excellent organizational, writing, and communication skills.
Ability to prioritize assignments, take initiative, and work closely with an attorney.
A dependable work ethic and positive attitude.
Availability to work in person in West Palm Beach and begin as soon as possible.
