A well-established litigation law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Associate to join its expanding Sunrise, Florida office. This position focuses primarily on insurance defense and construction defect litigation and offers an excellent opportunity to work alongside an accomplished Partner with significant experience in complex construction-related matters.
The selected attorney will manage an active caseload while receiving mentorship and direct collaboration on sophisticated litigation matters. Responsibilities include handling cases through all phases of litigation, including drafting pleadings and motions, conducting legal research, managing written discovery, taking and defending depositions, attending hearings, participating in mediations, conducting site inspections, preparing for trial, and assisting with trial proceedings

Qualified candidates should be licensed and in good standing with The Florida Bar and possess approximately five or more years of civil litigation experience, with insurance defense and/or construction defect experience preferred. The ideal candidate will have exceptional written and verbal communication skills, strong analytical abilities, excellent organizational and time-management skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment. Candidates should be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively
