Key Responsibilities:
- Operate press machines to cut, shape, and form metal components according to specifications.
- Load and unload materials into the press and monitor production to ensure quality standards.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on press equipment.
- Inspect finished products for defects and ensure compliance with quality control standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production schedules.
- Follow all workplace safety regulations and guidelines.
- Keep accurate records of production output and machine performance.
- Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Previous experience operating press machines or working in a metal fabrication environment preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift and move materials (may require lifting 50 lbs).
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance.
- Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, heat, and moving machinery.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
