Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Programs to lead and oversee our organization’s program initiatives. This leadership role is vital in ensuring the successful development, implementation, and management of programs that serve individuals with developmental disabilities, substance issues, trauma and psycosis and homeless issues. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, extensive experience in program development, and a passion for social work and behavioral health. Essential Functions:
1. Leadership & Program Oversight (40%)
- Provide leadership and supervision to program managers and direct reports
- Oversee multiple funded programs, including housing, Ryan White, HOPWA, STI/PrEP, and private grants
- Promote collaboration, efficiency, and quality improvement across programs
2. Grant & Program Development (15%)
- Develop service delivery models and long-term program goals
- Collaborate on grant proposals, reporting, and program evaluations
3. Research, Data & Analysis (10%)
- Support research, data collection, and evaluation efforts
- Analyze findings to improve program outcomes and inform decision-making
4. Outreach, Collaboration & Marketing (10%)
- Strengthen partnerships with community agencies and funders
- Support outreach strategies and promote agency services
5. Budget, Billing & Performance Monitoring (10%)
- Monitor program budgets, billing, and contractual performance targets
6. Compliance & Quality Improvement (10%)
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, HUD, HRSA, State/Federal laws, and funder requirements
- Support the agency’s Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) process
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in program management, data analysis, and working with diverse populations
- Education: Master’s degree in Public Health, Human Services, or Social Work (preferred)
Skills & Competencies:
- Leadership, supervision, and problem-solving
- Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and exercise independent judgment
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Direct supervision of (6) staff members
- Budget oversight, performance management, training, and employee relations
Technical Requirements:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to learn case management and data systems (e.g., HMIS, HCC, eClinical)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $115,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
