Bookkeeper

We are seeking a detail‑oriented hands‑on Accountant/Bookkeeper to take full ownership of day‑to‑day accounting operations. This person will be the sole accounting resource and will help stabilize and clean up the books during a transition from a previous accountant, including some knowledge transfer.

• Manage AP and AR: invoicing, coding, matching, collections, and resolving past‑due balances
• Ensure timely payment of bills and maintain accurate vendor records
• Review and troubleshoot existing auto‑pay and ACH setups; establish new ACH processes as needed
• Perform accounting clean‑up and forensic review to ensure books are accurate and current
• Maintain orderly financial records and support A‑Z accounting functions
  
  

• QuickBooks Online required (Desktop experience acceptable)
• Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and lookups
• Proven experience handling A‑Z accounting independently
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and deadline driven
• Prior experience with accounting clean‑up or transition projects strongly preferred
