Payrroll Clerk

Encino, CA - 100% Onsite

We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Clerk to support accurate and timely payroll processing within a corporate environment. This role will assist with end-to-end payroll functions, maintain payroll records, and ensure compliance with company policies and labor regulations. The ideal candidate will bring proven payroll experience, strong system knowledge (ADP Workforce Now), and a demonstrated history of job stability. This position is 100% onsite at our Encino, CA location.

• Assist with processing bi-weekly or semi-monthly corporate payroll accurately and on time
• Maintain employee payroll records, including new hires, terminations, pay changes, deductions, and garnishments
• Audit payroll data for accuracy and resolve discrepancies prior to payroll submission
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and company policies
• Prepare payroll reports and assist with payroll reconciliations
• Support payroll tax filings, W-2s, and year-end payroll activities
• Respond to employee payroll inquiries in a timely and professional manner
• Partner with HR and Accounting to ensure accurate payroll-related data flow
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee and payroll information
  
  

• 2 years of recent corporate payroll experience (required)
• Hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now (WFN)
• Demonstrated job stability with consistent tenure in prior roles
• Strong understanding of payroll processes, deductions, and wage regulations
• High attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and payroll reporting
• Strong organizational and communication skills
  
  

• Experience processing payroll for multi-state or high-volume employee populations
• Familiarity with timekeeping systems integrated with ADP
• Payroll certification (FPC or CPP) a plus
