Position OverviewLedgent Finance & Accounting's client is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Accountant (Cost/Inventory) to join their dynamic team in California. This role requires a seasoned professional with a strong background in full-cycle accounting and a experience with cost and inventory accounting, particularly within the manufacturing sector. Experience in food and beverage manufacturing is highly preferred.ResponsibilitiesOverseeing full-cycle accounting processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.Managing cost and inventory accounting tasks efficiently.Utilizing system knowledge to enhance accounting operations.Collaborating with manufacturing teams to ensure financial data integrity.Analyzing cost data to identify trends and provide actionable insights.Preparing and maintaining detailed financial reports and statements.Ensuring compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations.Providing guidance and support to junior accounting staff.Qualifications5 years of experience in full-cycle accounting, with a focus on cost and inventory accounting.Proficiency in accounting systems and software.Experience in manufacturing, especially food and beverage manufacturing, is highly preferred.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.Required Work HoursMonday to Friday, first shift.BenefitsThe position offers a competitive salary range from $85,000 to $100,000 annually, along with comprehensive benefits.Additional DetailsThe ideal candidate will possess a proactive approach to accounting challenges and demonstrate the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
