What are the responsibilities and job description for the Property Controller position at Ledgent Finance & Accounting?
Client is open to both full time direct hire or contract to hire. Hybrid schedule is 3 days onsite and 2 days remote after initial ramp up period.
Supervise 4 staff but a very hands on position. Yardi or similar system a plus. 6-10 years of property mangement industry experience on the residential real estate side. In charge of all accounting aspects close, cash mgt, monthly financial reporting, close all properties, budgeting, interface with auditors. Bachelor's degree.
Must have prior experience interacting with owners and investors as they will be the primary interface when explaining property budgets, forecasts, and financial statements.
HUD experience would be ideal but not required. Knowledge of Regulatory Agreement for Project Based Section 8 on the property. This means the majority of the units most time 100% have Section 8 subsidy.
