Our company is expanding, and we're looking for a skilled, part-time Bookkeeper / Accounting Specialist who can lead our daily accounting operations while supporting light office management. No two days are the same - but every day you'll make an impact.Accounts ReceivableCreate and send customer invoices through our ERP system synced with QBOManage collections and follow up on overdue balancesMaintain customer terms, credit limits, and account healthIssue credit memos and conduct account audits as neededAccounts PayableProcess and close vendor invoicesAllocate freight, duties, and additional costs properlyMaintain organized vendor files and conduct vendor auditsHandle weekly bill paymentsBanking & ReconciliationsReconcile bank accounts, 1 credit card, and 1 line of creditEnsure accurate posting to the chart of accountsPrepare journal entries for payroll and accrualsChart of Accounts & Financial AccuracyEnter new contracts-including those with interest componentsCategorize expenses with precision and maintain impeccable recordsTax & ReportingPrepare and file quarterly sales tax returns (CDTFA)Work closely with the CPA for quarterly and annual filingsEnsure full compliance with federal, state, and local regulationsLight Office Manager ResponsibilitiesAssist with general office administration, filing, scanning, and vendor coordinationHelp support a positive, organized, efficient work environmentCoordinate small projects and ensure operational compliance-Requirements3-5 years of bookkeeping/accounting experienceStrong QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop proficiencyExperience with full-cycle A/R, A/P, payroll, and reconciliationsPosting POA store daily sales on Sqaure software Exceptional organization, accuracy, and problem-solving skillsDegree in Accounting/Finance preferred (not required)All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
