Accounting Assistant

Seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join a growing finance team at a leading real estate company in downtown Los Angeles. This position supports the accounting department with day-to-day operations and ensures accurate and timely financial reporting.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.Prepare and post journal entries, reconcile bank statements, and maintain general ledger accuracy.Support month-end and year-end closing activities.Maintain organized records of financial transactions and documentation.Communicate with vendors, clients, and internal teams to resolve billing or payment issues.Assist with audits and compliance requirements as needed.Provide administrative support to the accounting team, including data entry and filing.QualificationsEducation: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.Experience: 1-2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience; real estate industry experience is a plus.Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Yardi, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.Excellent communication and organizational skills.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
