If you are passionate about mission-driven work and thrive in a collaborative environment, we'd love to hear from you!Key ResponsibilitiesManage day-to-day accounting operations, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.Oversee fund accounting and ensure compliance with non-profit financial standards.Handle grant accounting, including tracking, reporting, and ensuring proper allocation of funds.Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.Support audits and ensure adherence to GAAP and organizational policies.Collaborate with program managers to provide financial insights and maintain budget integrity.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred but not required).2 years of accounting experience, ideally within a non-profit organization.Strong knowledge of fund accounting and grant accounting principles.Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, or similar).Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Desire and ability to grow into a leadership role.CompensationSalary (upon hire): $85,000 - $100,000 annuallyTemp-to-Hire Hourly Rate: $40 - $48/hourAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
