Accounting Manager
Our client is seeking a skilled Accounting Manager for their team. If you enjoy working hands-on in a small company atmosphere, then this full-time, direct-hire role could be a great fit!
Responsibilities of the Accounting Manager
- Oversee all accounting functions
- Supervise, train, motivate, and assign work flow to accounting staff
- Maximize return on financial assets by establishing and enforcing financial policies, procedures, controls, and reporting systems
- Monitor accounts and maintain ledgers
- Prepare budgets
- Analyze data and prepare reports
- Participate in audits and tax preparation
- Ensure regulatory compliance
- Perform additional tasks and special projects as required
Qualifications of the Accounting Manager
- 5 years of well-rounded accounting experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
- Intermediate MS Excel skills; QuickBooks experience preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
