In this role you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day bookkeeping, accounting, payroll, and HR operations of The Juicery. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 3 -5 years of experience in bookkeeping and/or accounting, prior HR experience is a bonus. Core responsibilities shall include, but not be limited to:
- Processing Bi-weekly Payroll; and
- Onboarding New Hires into Payroll & HRIS Systems; and
- Managing Updates to Team Member Payroll Records as Needed; and
- Managing Weekly Cash Log Reconciliations; and
- Ensuring timely and accurate monthly financial reporting; and
- Ensuring All Bank & Credit Card Transactions are Recorded Weekly; and
- Overseeing Monthly Book Close Operations; and
- Managing the Accounts Payable; and
- Act as liaison for all tax preparation with external CPA; and
- Perform preparation of Annual Budget; and
- Participating in Management Team Meetings; and
- Producing Ongoing Labor & COGS Reporting to Support Scheduling & Ordering.
This position will report directly to the Director of Business Operations and will interface with external consultants and advisors as needed and to support ongoing training and development.
Candidates must have a demonstrate the items outlined below to be considered for the position of Accounting and Payroll Manager:
- Quickbooks Online Experience; and
- Attention to Detail; and
- A Minimum of 3 - 5 Years in Bookkeeping or Accounting Experience
- Ability to Work Independently; and
- Knowledge of Online Banking & Bill Payment Systems; and
- Articulate and Professional Communication Skills; and
- Experience in Cash & Accrual Accounting Environments
- Prior professional experience is required
