Electrician

Leapros Skilled Trades is actively hiring Electrician in Warner Robins, GA. The Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical codes and safety procedures, the ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams, and experience with working independently or as part of a team on service-oriented projects.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $20 to $35 Per Hour BOE

Responsibilities:

• Install, bend, and remove conduit to accommodate wiring needs.
• Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Pull electrical wiring through conduit and connect it to circuit breakers, transformers, and outlets.
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems including conduit, lighting fixtures, electrical panels, transformers, switches, and motors.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform corrective actions to minimize downtime.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems.
• Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits using various testing devices.
• Ensure compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC), local codes, and company safety standards.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in commercial or industrial electrical installations and service.
• Possession of necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) and hand tools.
• Dependable and punctual, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comprehensive knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) standards.
• Reliable transportation to and from job sites in the Warner Robins, GA area.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex electrical systems and interpret technical documentation.

Physical Requirements:

• Must have manual dexterity, a good sense of balance, and excellent hand-eye coordination.
• Use hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
• Must be able to climb stairs, ladders, and poles.
• Must be physically capable of pulling wires and cables through conduits.
• Must be able to work in inclement weather conditions including extreme hot and cold temperatures.
• Maybe exposed to heights and loud noises.
• Must be able to see color to discern color-coded wiring.
• Must be able to sit, stand, kneel, stoop, walk, and sit for long periods of time.
• Must be physically capable of lifting and carrying up to 80 lbs.

Pay Transparency:

The anticipated pay range for this position is $20 to $35 per hour, based on relevant factors such as experience, skills, education, internal equity, and geographic location. Final compensation will be determined during the interview process by the hiring authority.
