Electrician

Leapros Skilled Trades is actively hiring Electrician in Red Wing, MN. The Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in a variety of settings. The ideal candidate will have experience in electrical service work, a strong understanding of electrical codes, and the ability to work independently to resolve electrical issues for clients.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $20 to $35 Per Hour BOE

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems including conduit, lighting fixtures, and electrical panels.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform corrective actions to minimize downtime.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems for commercial or industrial facilities.
• Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Pull electrical wiring through conduit and connect it to circuit breakers and outlets.
• Install, bend, and remove conduit to accommodate wiring needs.
• Ensure compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an electrician, preferably in a service or maintenance capacity.
• Knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) standards and local electrical codes.
• Possession of necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) and basic hand tools.
• Dependable and punctual with the ability to work independently at various client sites.
• Reliable transportation to travel to job sites in the Red Wing, MN area.

Physical Requirements:

• Must have manual dexterity, a good sense of balance, and excellent hand-eye coordination.
• Must be able to climb stairs, ladders, and poles.
• Must be physically capable of pulling wires and cables through conduits.
• Must be able to see color to discern color-coded wiring.
• Must be able to sit, stand, kneel, stoop, walk, and stand for long periods of time.
• Must be physically capable of lifting and carrying up to 80 lbs.
• Must be aware of OSHA safety standards.

Pay Transparency:

The anticipated pay range for this position is $20 to $35 per hour, based on relevant factors such as experience, skills, education, internal equity, and geographic location. Final compensation will be determined during the interview process by the hiring authority.
