We are partnered with a top-tier litigation boutique (350 lawyers) in New York that is actively growing its litigation bench and looking to hire Associates from junior through senior levels (1β8 years post-JD).
This firm is known for handling bet-the-company disputes, high-stakes commercial litigation, and complex investigations for sophisticated clients, including public companies, private equity sponsors, founders, and high-net-worth individuals. Associates are given early responsibility, direct client exposure, and meaningful courtroom experience.
The Role
Associates will work closely with Partners on a broad range of matters, which may include:
- Complex commercial and business litigation
- Securities, financial services, and shareholder disputes
- White collar, internal investigations, and regulatory matters
- Bankruptcy-related litigation and restructuring disputes
- Contract, fraud, fiduciary duty, and governance claims
- Trial preparation, depositions, motion practice, and appeals
The group is deliberately broad in its hiring and is open to candidates with diverse litigation backgrounds, provided they demonstrate strong fundamentals and a desire to work in a fast-paced, elite litigation environment.
Candidate Profile
- 1β8 years of post-JD litigation experience
- Strong experience in federal and/or state court litigation
- Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Experience with depositions, discovery, and motion practice preferred
- Judicial clerkship experience is a plus, but not required
- Comfortable taking responsibility and working closely with Partners
- Motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to develop as a litigator
