Our Client, a leading healthcare & pharma strategy consultancy, is seeking an experienced Associate Partner to help drive the continued growth and success of the firm. This consultancy partners with senior executives at global Pharmaceutical and Medical Device companies, supporting critical commercial decisions through rigorous primary research, advanced data analysis, and deep sector expertise.
The company advises Global 500 organizations across portfolio strategy, commercial due diligence, go-to-market strategy, competitive strategy, business development & licensing, and product commercialization.
This is a highly entrepreneurial leadership role for a senior consultant with deep pharma and life sciences expertise, a strong track record in business development, and the ability to build, lead, and inspire teams. The role offers a compelling long-term career trajectory, including a clear and attractive path to Partner.
What You’ll Do
- Grow the firm’s healthcare strategy practice across areas such as market opportunity assessment, product development, go-to-market strategy, BD&L, and competitive strategy
- Build and expand senior client relationships while originating and winning new work
- Partner closely with other Vice Presidents and Partners to develop core accounts and new growth opportunities
- Deliver high-impact client work by leveraging institutional knowledge, data, and subject-matter expertise
- Provide thought leadership and contribute to the development of intellectual capital
- Lead, mentor, and develop consulting teams while serving as a role model for the firm’s culture
- Manage project and practice-level profitability
What They are Looking For
- 7–10 years of strategy consulting experience, ideally with a top healthcare-focused consulting firm
- Proven success in business development and client relationship management within healthcare
- Established network across the pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device sectors
- Bachelor’s degree from a top-tier university; advanced degree preferred
- Strong executive presence, communication skills, and comfort engaging with senior stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple priorities across business development, client delivery, and team leadership
- Demonstrated success building and leading high-performing consulting teams
Salary : $180,000 - $290,000
