You will calculate low flow and flood flow discharge measurements, do routine maintenance on and troubleshoot field monitoring equipment, data quality control, survey, hydraulic analysis, and data analysis. Candidates should live within 30 miles of La Grange to be available for occasional night, weekend, and holiday work. Whether you are new, junior, or a senior level hydrologist, we want you!

How You’ll Contribute
- Gather and track hydrologic data and observations.
- Construct streamflow and precipitation monitoring stations.
- Install and maintain field instruments.
- Educate and communicate to internal and external customers on lake and river operations and conditions.
- Four or more years of experience in hydrology, such as performing equipment installation/maintenance, hydrologic data collection and hydrologic analysis or relevant experience.
- A degree(s) in hydrology, water resources, electronics, engineering or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.
- Driver's license
- Knowledge of hydrologic tools and test equipment.
- Knowledge of remote data collection systems.
- Knowledge of operating heavy equipment.
- Knowledge of AC and DC electrical wiring.
