A well-established community organization based in Columbia Falls, Montana, responsible for overseeing a scenic, 320-acre residential enclave that includes forest, meadow, aquatic areas, and a network of sub-associations is seeking a Part-time Bookkeeper. They are dedicated to maintaining high standards of governance, financial oversight, and resident engagement to ensure a safe, welcoming, and well-managed environment for all homeowners.

This Bookkeeping role offers a flexible schedule and is ideal for someone with a strong grasp of accounting principles and experience using QuickBooks. This position involves maintaining accurate financial records, managing invoices and accounts payable, and supporting overall financial reporting. With a workload of 4 to 8/hours per week it’s a great fit for an organized, detail-oriented individual who thrives working independently.

Pay: Up to $25/hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Part-time, flexible 4 to 8/hours a week

Essential Functions and Duties:

• Record all financial transactions in QuickBooks and reconcile bank statements
• Create, send, and manage quarterly invoices and track delinquent accounts
• Print and review financial reports for internal use and management
• Manage accounts payable, including printing checks and obtaining authorization signatures
• Deposit checks into appropriate bank accounts and monitor cash flow
• Set up, maintain, and track credit card charges and related transactions

Qualifications:

• Experience with QuickBooks
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial reporting
• Attention to details and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping
• Ability to manage time effectively and work independently
• Good communication skills for coordinating with team members
