About The Job
3M is hiring for the position of Analyst – Legal as part of its Global Legal Service Center (GLSC). The role involves supporting 3M Legal Affairs across multiple practice areas including Business Counsel, Employment & Benefits, and Legal Operations.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law from an accredited institution with strong academic credentials
- Minimum 4 years of experience in general legal services or in-house legal support
- Strong legal judgment and ability to apply rules, playbooks, and precedents
- High attention to detail and ability to handle high-volume work
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to learn new tools and processes quickly
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work with cross-functional teams
- Experience reviewing marketing or promotional materials
- Familiarity with regulated claims, disclaimers, and product communications
- Exposure to legal operations or shared service environments
- Comfort with legal technology and AI-enabled tools
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Additional legal certifications or relevant continuing legal education
- Review marketing, promotional, and business collaterals for legal compliance
- Identify risks related to claims substantiation, disclaimers, trademarks, and third-party materials
- Apply legal judgment and escalate issues where necessary
- Support legal services related to Business Counsel and Employment & Benefits teams
- Create, review, and improve process documentation and reporting
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives including legal technology and AI tools
