About The Job
Vidhi is inviting applications for the position of Research Fellow in its Climate & Ecosystems Team.
This is a full-time role involving legal and policy research, stakeholder engagement, and contribution to environmental law and governance initiatives.
Eligibility
- Undergraduate degree in Law or a relevant field
- 0–2 years of experience or demonstrated interest in environmental policy
- Knowledge of parliamentary procedures
- Strong research, analytical, and writing skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel and data analysis tools
- Experience working with legislators or on parliamentary research
- Publications in journals or media on relevant topics
- Conduct research on parliamentary proceedings and environmental law developments
- Assist in legal and policy research on biodiversity and natural ecosystems
- Draft research reports, policy briefs, and newsletters
- Organize and coordinate stakeholder meetings and consultations
- Support fundraising efforts, including research and proposal drafting
- Assist in dissemination of research through events and engagement
- Contribute to administrative and team-related tasks
- Competitive, based on experience and Vidhi’s internal structure
