About the Firm:
Our client is seeking a highly motivated Senior Litigation Attorney with substantial experience in civil litigation, specifically real estate and landlord-tenant matters. The successful candidate will be confident managing all phases of litigation independently and have a proven track record of handling matters from case inception through trial.
Responsibilities:
- Independently manage a diverse caseload of real estate and landlord-tenant litigation matters from inception through trial.
- Represent clients in a broad range of commercial and residential real estate disputes, lease disputes, unlawful detainer actions, and other landlord-tenant matters.
- Handle all aspects of trial preparation, including witness preparation, exhibits, and trial strategy.
- Meet annual billable hour expectations while maintaining high-quality legal work.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Active membership in the California State Bar.
- 2 years of civil litigation experience, with a strong emphasis on real estate and landlord-tenant litigation.
- Strong courtroom advocacy, deposition, motion practice, and negotiation skills.
Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $180k-$300k. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
